St Patrick's College provides students with a range of internal facilities to assist with and enhance the learning experience. Our proximity to external resources such as sporting facilities and cultural venues, increases our ability to provide students with a rich and fulfilling educational experience.

On campus facilities include a modern well equipped hall, large undercover pavilion, speciality rooms for art, music, drama, woodwork, metalwork, graphics, computers, home economics, curriculum support and behavioural support.

St Patrick's College has an extensive computer network which provides support for the business and educational needs of the school.

Every student has access to considerable network resources including a Windows computer lab; an iMac lab that can also run Windows; Windows laptops in the robotics room and woodwork/design room; data projectors, high speed internet; secure email access; fast Wi-Fi in all buildings, and a laser printer/copier in the library.

2009 saw the introduction of a 1-to-1 computing program for incoming students. Using their own computing devices (currently iPads) students have full access to school resources via a wireless network that covers all learning spaces.

The college employs three full-time and one part-time Information Technology staff to support and maintain the operation of its technology infrastructure.

The college library embraces the St Patrick's College mission of nurturing Catholic faith by educating and developing the whole person.

To achieve this goal the library provides a welcoming and stimulating environment for all students, teachers and the wider school community. As it is well supported the collection, services and facilities are able to meet changing demands, technologies and interests of the students, teachers and curriculum. The library staff is committed to supporting the school community, we strive to provide friendly, professional support in all areas of access to and use of print and non-print resources and equipment.

Of particular focus are the areas of resource based teaching and learning, information literacy and recreational reading.

St Patrick's College has two modern hall that allows sports such as basketball, netball, badminton, volleyball, indoor soccer, cricket, hockey and dodge ball to be played in all weather conditions. The hall also houses a gym with weight training equipment, bikes, rowers, a treadmill and elliptical trainer. A large undercover area (Pavilion) provides shade over two resurfaced basketball courts, which are used for other sports as well.

An outdoor gym area allows students to exercise in the fresh air using their own body weight. Six multi-functional pieces of equipment allow three persons to exercise at the same time.

St Patrick's College has a large outdoor area available for sports such as soccer, football and archery. The field is bordered with shady trees, popular with students during lunch and recess. The College is also centrally enabling students easy access to tennis courts, cricket, hockey, soccer, and rugby league fields, an Olympic size swimming pool and lawn bowls.

St Patrick's College Arts facilities provide students with creative and inspiring spaces to explore the Visual and Performing Arts.

The new Arts Block comprises one large art room, a sewing room, store room, kiln room and sculpture verandah. The space is well illuminated with sky lights and windows and has sinks, storage facilities and modern work spaces. Students are inspired to be creative, problem solve and learn new innovative techniques in Visual Art.

The hall is a multi-purpose facility used for dance lessons, concerts, visiting artist performances, sport and whole school assemblies and activities.

The hall stage supports a large classroom where music, drama and dance are studied and performed.

Instrumental rooms are provided for students who study instrumental with private tutors in school time.

The St Patrick's College Curriculum Centre (Mercy Campus) has been developed to provide support to all students in the College, to further enhance their learning and to provide an extension to the traditional classroom. The Curriculum Centre caters for students who experience learning difficulties in some areas, those who have been absent for an extended period and need to catch up on work they have missed, and those who require extension programs and are able to work at their own pace independently. The Curriculum Centre is staffed with at least one full-time teacher assistant, who support students under the direction of the student’s regular class teacher.

It is resourced with a few iPads, a TV and Playstations for interactive games and a wide range of learning resources relating to every Subject Area. The Curriculum Centre is also a place of respite from the playground at lunchtime, where students can come for some quiet activities.

The St Patrick's College P & F Association has fundraised extensively to ensure students have access to shaded areas with seating to enjoy recreational time. These areas are also utilised for formal lessons in an outdoor environment as well as shade during break times. The pavilion is another area favoured by students for its extensive shade. It's used for many activities including basketball, netball, volleyball and others. Also a great location for outdoor assemblies and special occasions.

Specialist facilities exist for woodwork, metalwork, graphics, art, computer design, robotics, laser cutting and home economics.

Home economics is held in three large classrooms with many ovens (gas and electric), microwaves, sewing machines (including overlockers), fridges and freezer, washing machine, small appliances, kitchenware, cutlery, crockery, linen and many other tools of the trade to create masterful garments and gourmet meals.

St Patrick's College features a technology block which offers easy access to students engaged in design and creation. The block features individual rooms for:

• Woodwork
• Metalwork
• Graphics
• Robotics

St Patrick's College has a multi-purpose hall complete with stage, sound and theatre lighting. The stage is also utilised by music and drama classes. Other hall facilities include a kitchen, green room, gym and restrooms.

Many indoor games and sports are played in the hall including basketball, netball, badminton, volleyball, indoor soccer, cricket, hockey and dodge ball. The hall is also used for assemblies, presentations and social events. Four ceiling mounted projectors and one extra-large central projector coupled with audio visual equipment allow the college to show movies, television and computer created content on four large screens.

The College has an outdoor gym that students are free to use during break periods. It is also used in some HPE classes. The gym uses body weight as resistance. A large shade sail over the top of the gym helps protect students from the harmful sun rays.
